Our commitments
- Taking part is voluntary, and you give your consent before the survey starts.
- Your answers are anonymised and used for research and statistical purposes only.
- Your data is never sold, and never used for advertising.
- The results are published openly, and every respondent receives the report.
Who is responsible
The Youth Signal Survey 2026 is run jointly by Junior Chamber International (JCI) and AIESEC, who are responsible for how its data is collected and used. Project Everyone supports the survey. We handle survey data in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable data protection laws.
What we collect
- Your answers: responses to the survey questions, including any written answers.
- Demographics: broad details such as your age bracket and country. They let us compare results between groups, never identify you.
- Contact details, only if you opt in: a separate question asks whether you are willing to be contacted about future research. Saying no does not affect the rest of your answers.
This website itself does not collect personal data or track visitors. See our cookies page.
How it is collected and stored
The survey is run on Typeform, which stores responses on our behalf under its own security and data protection terms. Access to individual responses is limited to the people working on the research. The counter and leaderboard on this site show totals only, such as responses per country.
What gets published
Your answers are combined with everyone else’s to produce the Youth Signal Survey 2026 research report and an open dataset, published after the survey closes on 15 October 2026. Before anything is published, it is anonymised. We remove contact details and anything in written answers that could identify a person, and we group or leave out results where a group is small enough that someone could be recognised.
How long we keep it
We keep identifiable information, such as opt-in contact details, only as long as we need it for the research and for follow-up you agreed to, then delete it. Once published, the anonymised report and dataset stay publicly available as a research resource.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, to withdraw your consent, and to complain to your data protection authority. Your answers are anonymised, so once they are separated from anything that identifies you, we can no longer find or remove a single person’s response. You can withdraw your opt-in to future contact at any time.
International data
The survey runs in more than 130 countries, so data may be processed outside the country where you live. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the contractual protections our service providers offer.
